Programme description |
The two-year master study programme is designed for graduates of the bachelor study programmes. Students are to expand their knowledge within chemistry and the chosen major/specialization. Graduates of the master studies should have basic theoretical knowledge and skills allowing them to solve problems involving chemistry as well as non-standard obstacles. They should also be able to give opinions on the basis of incomplete or limited information while observing legal and ethical principles. Moreover, graduates ought to debate about chemistry both with specialists as well as amateurs in this field and be able to be leaders of teamwork. Graduates ought to have skills enabling them to work in chemical industry and related areas, state and municipal administration and be prepared for working in education (after completing teaching specialty). Graduates should be ready to take up research challenges and start education on PhD studies. |

Candidates applying to study on a fee-paying basis: 2200 EUR (1st year), 2000 EUR (2nd year) Polish and EU citizens as well as other candidates following the regulations pertaining to Polish citizens can study free of charge within the set limit of available places. Entry requirements |
The program is addressed to candidates holding Bachelor degree or any other equivalent degree. Prospective students register online in the Online Registration System (IRK) and file all the necessary documents within the deadline or until all the places available have been filled. The qualification procedure will be based on the arithmetic mean of marks (up to two decimal points) obtained from all final marks during the B.Sc. and M.Sc. studies. Graduates from all field of studies, where they have covered at least 330 hours of basic and major subjects including Mathematics – 30, Physics – 20, Chemistry 280. |

Programme description |
Master's degree studies in graphic arts are dedicated to undergraduates or graduates of all artistic faculties, for example Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Art Education etc. Our practical courses are based on study of traditional graphic techniques, painting and drawing as well as the newest digital technologies and multimedia solutions. Graphic design course units are conducted in a workshop format with use of Adobe applications. There are: Digital Picture Editing, Web Design, Multimedia, Illustration, Advertising Photography. During four semesters students have the possibility to learn different techniques of Printmaking: Intaglio (etching, aquatint, soft ground, drypoint), Relief Printing (linocut), Silkscreen and Experimental Printmaking. The artistic master’s diploma is realized in Printmaking Speciality or Graphic Design Speciality. Diploma is a set of works in a chosen technique, presented in a diploma exhibition. Our staff is gathered from the most experienced university teachers, recognized artists and scholars. The Institute of Fine Arts welcomes international students and values cultural diversity. All courses are taught in English. All graduates achieve Master of Fine Arts Degree.

Programme description | The programme is designed for both Polish and foreign students. It provides the skills needed to successfully help people with disabilities reach their potential. It enables to gain appropriate competences allowing cooperating effectively with people with disabilities, their families, social workers, educators, psychologists, physiotherapists and other specialists in order to include people with special needs in social life in the areas of: rehabilitation, education and vocational development, employment and leisure time.The program also allows to acquire the necessary practical skills to conduct therapeutic and rehabilitation activities with children, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities, reduced mobility, vision or/and hearing impairments, chronic diseases and mental disorders.The programme has a unique content. Programme description |
The Programme is designed to provide students with knowledge, skills and competences in the field of intercultural communication. These qualifications are very important and desirable not only in today’s labour market, but also essential for success in educational institutions. The Programme is addressed to Polish students who wish to study in English in an international environment and to foreign students who are interested in MA studies in Poland with English as the language of instruction. By participating in the courses, students will acquire knowledge about the cultural diversity of the world, an understanding of multicultural problems in the era of global economic and educational migration, as well as necessary intercultural competences and skills. The programme of study is based on four major thematic blocks: 1) cultural studies; 2) relations between language and culture; 3) practical learning of a foreign language; and 4) preparation for writing a Master’s thesis. The specified units provide intercultural competences and skills necessary for functioning in an international work and educational environment. Such a structured programme of study furnishes one with knowledge in the field of cultural anthropology, issues related to national and ethnic minorities, and nonverbal communication in an intercultural context. Practical language and personal skills, which enable the students to operate on the international labour market, are also important elements of our Programme. The studies “Intercultural Communication in Education and the Workplace” are unique on a nation-wide scale, because they are the only offer of this kind in Poland. In fact, no other State or private University in Poland offers courses on issues related to intercultural communication in relation to education and the workplace. |
